		We hold regular book launches at Singapore libraries, which enable member publishers to tap into the NLB's promotional abilities and enjoy significant media coverage.
		We post relevant information about the book trade, and the latest guidelines, online as an industry resource for members.
		We offer a membership base of over 70 companies with people that can help each other; our meetings and events are a great way to share information.
		As a member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Association enjoys discounts at SCCC events.
		SBPA is actively contributing to Singapore as an IP hub in the region.
		SBPA is actively promoting appropriate copyright practice in Singapore and the region.
		We organise a variety of talks, seminars and training sessions to help members upgrade their skills and keep up with the ever-changing publishing environment.
		We offer members a voice in the industry.
		Last but not least SBPA also aims to provide a friendly community in which Singapore-based publishers and related industry partners can pool knowledge and experiences.

Membership Requirements

Singapore-registered book publishers and book distributors may apply for full membership. Annual fees are S$300 May through April (S$100 if joining after October) with a one-off entrance fee of S$300; members have full voting rights.

Singapore-registered companies or individuals involved in the book publishing industry (such as printers, literary agents, rights agents, communications companies and bookshops) may apply for associate membership. Annual fees are S$300 May through April (S$100 if joining after October) with a one-off entrance fee of S$300 but associate membership does not come with voting rights.
